Each year, BSCENE Magazine has a reader poll, where everybody can go vote for their favorite businesses in the East Texas area for many, many different categories. It’s a pretty big ordeal, and has been something that we’ve been keeping an eye on for quite some time now, to say the least. You might have seen us post on Facebook and Twitter about this very poll a time or two, even.
Well, that poll is officially over.
Which made me a little nervous, to say the least.
I mean, I absolutely love the work that Daniel and I create, and all of the amazing places that we’ve seen because of it, and people that we’ve met throughout the years too. But, I always have a little voice in the back of my head that wonders what everybody else thinks about our work. This poll was a way to get a little glimpse into that very question.
Well, guess what? We won!
Daniel and I have something planned to celebrate this, that you all might enjoy, just perhaps. We’ve been throwing around a few ideas, and they’re definitely quite interesting, to say the least. Also, you might have noticed the silence on the blog since our Mexico trip. We’ve been shooting non-stop since then, and have so much new work to show off! From countless weddings, engagement, and bridal shoots, all the way to novel covers, models, and countless meetings with prospective clients, we’ve been anything but full of free time lately.
Once the editing gets caught up, you’ll all see many new blog posts, starting within the next few days. If you haven’t done so yet, go like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter, as you’ll see a ton of stuff there that won’t always be posted here. Plus, you’ll be able to read even more of our random ramblings, which I know is very hard to live without.
Seriously, thank you to everybody that voted for us. We wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for you all. As much as I love the art of photography, I know that Daniel and I love it even more whenever we can make people smile and remember a happy moment in their lives forever through our images.

Yacine Bekka - Congrats! My girlfriend and I are looking forward to shooting with you again. I would love for you to come out to Lone Star M.M.A./Relson Gracie Academy and get some shots of us training. Lone Star M.M.A. Relson Gracie Academy also has the honor of hosting the Relson Gracie Cup, in Tyler! I’ll be competing. I believe it’s January 7th if you are interested in shooting. Relson Gracie and other professional fighters will be in attendance. Keep up the hard work, and way to represent Tyler! Your work is incredible.
